Cellulose Insulation

Cellulose insulation is made from recycled newsprint and other materials and treated with nontoxic fire retardants. Cellulose is available in two main forms: loosefill and stabilized. Loosefill cellulose is often used to insulate attics, while stabilized cellulose is used to protect an entire home—including sidewalls.

According to the Cellulose Insulation Manufacturers Association, cellulose has the highest level of recycled content in the insulation industry. At Keith Porter, we offer cellulose insulation from GreenFiber, the largest manufacturer of natural fiber insulation, fire and sound products. Made from 85 percent recycled paper fiber, GreenFiber diverts millions of tons of paper from landfills. We will work with you to determine the best cellulose type based on your project’s requirements.
