to Greenville, S.C., to Athens. Our lake Oconee operation,
called Oconee Porter Insulation,
located in Eatonton, GA covers as far south as Milledgeville
and Macon.
 Keith
Porter Insulation & Fireplace
entered into the Insulation business in 1976 after branching
off from the parent company, Porter
Insulation, which was owned by his father. In 1988,
not wanting to expand territory but wanting the business
to grow, we decided to diversify into the manufactured fireplace
business. Over the following years we have become the premier
fireplace company in Northeast Georgia. Our marble and slate
operation is second to none.
Today
our goals are the same as they were 25 years ago. We are
totally committed to be the best Insulation & Fireplace
